We are seeking a highly skilled LiDAR Remote Sensing Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will contribute significantly to enhancing our forestry planning c apabilities through the application of LiDAR technology.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Geography, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field. A Master’s degree is an added advantage.
- Minimum 2-3 years of work experience in LiDAR data collection, processing, and analysis. Experience with mapping projects or GIS is a plus.
- Proficiency in GIS software (e.g., ArGIS, QGIS) and processing tools (TerraScan, LAStools, Global Mapper, LIDAR360).
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively in multidisciplinary teams.
- Programming skills in Python and/or R for data analysis are highly desirable.
Responsibilities:
- Utilize LiDAR technology to acquire, process, and analyze precise geospatial data for forestry planning and management.
