PT Asahimas Chemical (ASC) merupakan perusahaan yang bergerak dalam bidang industri kimia dasar dengan jenis produk seperti Ethlyene dichoride (EDC), Sodium hypochlorite (NAClO), Caustic Soda (NaOH), Hydrochloric acid (HCl), Vinyl chlorid monomer (VM) dan Polyvinyl chloride (PVC).
Pabrik Chlor Alkali-Vinyl Chloride ASC yang terintegrasi di Cilegon, Banten, Indonesia memproduksi bahan kimia dasar untuk banyak industri hilir. Pada tahun 1986, ASC didirikan sebagai perusahaan multinasional dengan kantor pusat di Jakarta. Pada tahun 1989, mulai beroperasi sebagai kompleks produksi mutakhir di provinsi Banten. Selama bertahun-tahun, kompleks telah berkembang beberapa kali, secara substansial meningkatkan kapasitas produksi.
Total investasi sekarang mencapai USD 1.015 juta. Saat ini, ASC mengoperasikan pabrik klor alkali-vinil klorida terbesar di Asia Tenggara. Dengan fokus pada pasar kimia dan industri, ASC memiliki kapasitas untuk memproduksi Caustic Soda (NaOH), Ethylene Dichloride (EDC), Vinyl Chloride Monomer (VCM), Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC), Hydrochloric Acid (HCI) dan Sodium Hypochlorite (NaCIO).

Procurement & Logistic Staff
Job Responsibilities:
- Distribution Arrangements Planning – Preparation realization good, proper distribution activity.
- Monitor and Control Distribution Shipments – Ensuring smooth, safe, and on time distribution activity.
- Inventory Monitoring – Maintaining balance inventory and distribution activity.
- Fleet Management – Ensuring fleet availability, performance and business partner performance evaluation.
- Distribution Costing – Analyzing and evaluating distribution cost.
- Control Material Usage – Ensure proper control of materials needed for plant operations, including inventory control, receiving, storing, and issuing.
- Warehouse Management System – Optimising inventory stock materials, apply FIFO system, monthly report.
- Monitor Delivery Progress – Follow up on delivery status to avoid any delays from suppliers.
- Select Suppliers/Subcontractors – Find and evaluate candidates to ensure they meet quality.
- Arrange Clarification Meetings – Set up meetings with users and candidates.
- Check Supplier Capabilities – Make sure suppliers or subcontractors are able to do the job and meet required standards.
- Clarify Requirements – Ensure all details are clearly discussed before issuing.
- Negotiate and Analyze Costs – Negotiate for the best quality, price, and delivery time using cost analysis methods.
- Prepare Order Approvals – Create documents needed to get internal approval.
- Draft Contracts and Orders – Prepare drafts of contracts, purchase orders, and work orders.
- Manage Order Process and Evaluation – Monitor issued orders and document results of selected and unselected candidates.
Requirements:
- Educational Background – Bachelor’s degree in Physics, Electrical, Chemical , Mechanical or Industrial Engineering
- Extensive Experience – Having 1 – 3 years’ experience in related field; fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
- Core Skills – Good strong communication, problem solving, teamwork ability, and analytic thinking.
- Communication Skills – Proficient in both written and spoken English.
